Not all hospitals can have a laboratory to produce their own bulk and doses of radiopharmaceuticals. That is why IBC allows hospitals to order multi-dose vials and syringes from an external supplier. When ordered syringes and mother vials are delivered, these can be linked to the order during booking into IBC, thus enabling to signal late or missing deliveries.
